Trinitarian Breath Prayer
Be aware that God is present in our midst where two or three are gathered and God’s ruach (Hebrew for Spirit, wind and breath that was breathed into Adam) is as close as each person’s breath. Breathe in deeply through your nose on the first half – and out through your mouth on the second half so that others can hear you.
This prayer reminds us of God as trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – who together creates the world, saves us, and makes us holy. It is designed for us with the Apple watch breathe app. But that tool is not at all necessary. If you use the app begin the prayer with the “starter” breaths (before the vibration) and repeat the first line twice.
Be still and know – that I am God.
Breathe in the Father – breathe out love (I remember this by thinking that God is love)
Breathe in in Jesus – breathe out light (I remember this by thinking Jesus is the light of the world)
Breathe in the Holy Spirit – breathe out life (I remember this by thinking of God's spirit making Adam come alive)
I am fearfully and wonderfully – made.
I am fearfully and wonderfully – set free.
I am fearfully and wonderfully – made holy.
In God we live and move – and have our being.

Set Your Intention
Use this at the start of each day during your quiet time, or around the breakfast table. At the end of the day reflect on what you saw, what attitudes you had etc. in your journal, or around the supper table.
Today I will see Jesus, be Jesus and mess up (and find grace).
I can choose my attitude.
I can look for an opportunity.
And we can find a way forward together.

Be Still and Know - Centering
Using deep breaths in and out say each phrase followed by a pause.
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am.
Be still and know me.
Be still and know.
Be still
Be.
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am.
Be still and know me.
Be still and know.
Be still
Be.
